Couch or dog trampoline? Bouncing dog makes great video

Addo my dog is still getting used to living at the house. The pup has offered up some interesting challenges over the past month after he moved in. While it’s nothing that can’t be taken care of, his latest decision to have a dog trampoline has me wondering if dogs love to be airborne.

Apparently, any piece of furniture can be used as a bouncy toy in the eyes of a dog. Especially if it gives the dog a little air to make his fur fly. Addo has really been transfixed on running around the house and literally jumping on the cushions of the couch to bounce. It doesn’t sound like much, but he propels himself off the couch and before he lands on his dog bed, he takes some serious air by being a few feet off the ground.

At first it looked like he did this by accident, but over the past couple of days this bouncing dog routine has become a regular event around the house. Even when working on the computer I can watch him take a running jump to bounce on the couch. And after he returns to the dog bed, he’s got this big grin just like you see when people get off of a roller coaster.

One could suggest he is a bad dog. Or even a dog that needs manners. And I’d have to agree. However, it is also interesting to see how our dogs have a little fun amusing themselves when they think the owners are not looking. Now all I need to do is get out my camera for the perfect bouncing dog video. As for the furniture, it appears that this couch has just become a dog trampoline!
